About the PodcastI started the Must Love Coaching podcast because I have always had a hard time finding support and resources for instructional coaches. I think there is a misconception that coaches don't need support because the very nature of our role is to provide support. However, we have a unique role that can be isolating in a way only other coaches can understand. The challenges we face are totally different from the challenges we faced as classroom teachers, and it is important we learn from each other so we can grow and encourage each other to provide the best support to our colleagues. I created the Must Love Coaching podcast with new coaches in mind, but I think all instructional coaches will benefit from listening. Even in 2023, the instructional coaching role is still a relatively new career, and one in which the expectations shift from year to year. I hope that through this podcast, instructional coaches will find a safe place where they can learn from each other.
